Vaccination Requirement for Authorised Workers
The Victorian Government has announced vaccination requirements for all authorised providers and authorised workers who are not working from home.
For dance in Melbourne and regional Victoria – the authorised worker list includes;
- online broadcast from physical recreation facilities
- Permitted Essential VCE Assessments and essential assessment preparations for attendance onsite from Monday, 30 August 2021 in Performing Arts studies at Unit 3/4 level only for: Dance and Dance (VCE VET)
Authorised workers must have had their first COVID-19 vaccine dose by Friday 15 October. From 26 November 2021, the requirement will increase to having had two doses or a medical exception.
At this time, we do not have information about future vaccine requirements for dance more widely however we are meeting regularly with the State Government and will communicate changes and updates as they become official and available.
