Whether you are a dance artist, small business owner or working in a larger company, these seminars will keep you up-to-date with dance industry trends and are an opportunity to hear from industry experts. Inside Dance gives you the knowledge and confidence to manage a successful dance business and navigate the wider dance environment.
Creative Self-Care
Presented by Arts Wellbeing Collective
This two-hour online workshop, by the Arts Wellbeing Collective, explores the necessity of self-care, in an industry where it’s often dismissed as a luxury. Together, we will work on wellbeing strategies, with an emphasis on identifying and overcoming barriers specific to the performing arts.
Learning Outcomes
- Discuss the mental health continuum & how deliberate actions influence personal wellbeing
- Identify specific performing arts industry barriers to self-care
- Identify protective strategies in the performing arts for self-care
