Anna runs a dance studio that is GST registered and had scheduled mid-year performances over the weekend of 5 & 6 June. The theatre seats 150, and she had scheduled 3 performances for a total booked audience of 330 ticket holders. She had to refund $6,600 in ticket sales, and due to her contractual obligations lost her venue deposit of $1,000.  She had also paid $600 for advertising.

As her total losses of $8,200 are above the minimum of $7,000, Anna is eligible to apply for the Live Performance Support Program for Presenters.

Our goal is to support and improve access and support of individuals and businesses engaged with dance across our sector and state. This work will continue.
