There are no prerequisite requirements for this qualification.
To obtain the CUA20113 Certificate II in Dance qualification participants must complete a total of 10 units comprising: all 7 core units and a minimum of 3 elective units.
Victorian students may enrol in VET Dance as a part of their VCE program and receive a score that contributes to their ATAR. VCAA determines the structure of the VCE VET Dance program. This structure includes an additional 2 units of competency from CUA30113 Certificate III in Dance
What is the Certificate II in Dance/VET Dance?
The Certificate II in Dance (CUA20113) is a nationally recognised training program. The course develops industry-specific workplace skills in Dance that may lead to basic level industry opportunities or further education in the dance industry. Students who successfully complete the required coursework and assessment tasks receive a Certificate II in Dance, which is a Vocational Education and Training (VET) certificate.
